PAX 2 Hidden Features: Stealth mode

The PAX 2 portable vape vaporizer should be shaken. Once the flashing ‘X’ has occurred, the lights will dimming and glowing a soft white. You will still be able to use your PAX 2 portable vaporizer as normal. However, the LEDs won’t give you any feedback. Resetting the PAX can disable stealth mode.

Classic party mode

Each of the four LEDs will gradually fade as they run through their respective colors. The lip sensor will activate the speed-up function when someone draws. This will keep your oven warm while you move the PAX vaper around.

Alternate partymode AKA partytimer

Instead of the “color wheel effect” of the traditional mode, each LED will glow a single color. The color change speed will increase to near manic when in use. The oven will remain hot as you move the vape around, just like the original.

Light painting

After briefly turning red, the LEDs will then turn off. The LEDs will react to motion-related color changes when you move the vape sideways. This mode can be turned off by following the normal temperature change procedure. After the oven has reached its maximum temperature, turn the PAX on and then push the button once more. The heating element will be turned off when the lights turn blue.

Simon

When only one of the LEDs lights, you will know that you are in Simon mode. Keep the PAX 2 flat and tilt in the direction that the lit LED is. All four LEDs will light up, indicating that you are on the next level. You will receive a PAX sequence of two lights. This can be replicated by tilting in the desired directions and then returning to neutral.

Funky Town

Beat 20 levels of Simon, and the PAX logo lightens red, green, yellow, and blue. It will sound very similar to Lipps Inc.’s famous “Funky Town”. It’s back! You can turn it off by pressing the button five times quickly while in temperature setting mode.

Knight RiderAKA green Mode

To access Party Mode, roll the PAX 2 times in the opposite direction. The LEDs turn green and slide back-and forth, reminiscent of Knight Rider’s KIT.
